Mpho wa Badimo from Big Brother Mzansi in real life as Michelle Mvundla.

Mpho was Badimo Michelle Mvundla is a 27 year old South African Sangoma, YouTuber, reality star, advocate and spiritual teacher. She became popular after making it to the finals of Big Brother Mzansi in 2022. On the 3rd of April 2022 Mpho was Badimo was announced as the winner of of 2022 Big Brother Mzansi. She was born as Michelle Dimpho Mvundla but she is professionally reffered to as Mpho wa Badimo, a nick name which is from Dimpho(gifts) and is associated with her ancestors (Badimo). So Mpho wa Badimo means ( gift of ancestors).

She was born in a small town of Daveyton in Ekurhuleni District in Gauteng province in South Africa on the 9th of August 1994. Growing up in Daveyton in Ekurhuleni, Mpho wa Badimo always dreamt of becoming a reality TV star. She wanted to be part of BBMzansi which used to be called Big Brother South Africa since 2001. She probably attainned her basic education (primary and secondary school) in Daveyton before relocating to the main city of Johannesburg. On January 2022, Mpho wa Badimo Michelle Mvundla was part of the group which joined the reality show of Big Brother Mzansi as a contestant.

 

 

 

 

The group had 18 contestants and five housemates- Tulz, Mpho, Grash1 and Link- made it to the finale. On the 3rd of April 2022, Big Brother Mzansi announced the winner of the year’s season and Mpho wa Badimo was the winner thus crowned the winner of Big Brother Mzansi. She walked away with an award of R2million rands which she will invest to support her family. Mpho was praised for her authentic win, one without the backing of housemates after she had been nominated for eviction week after week. Since Mpho is a Sangoma, most housemates didn’t like her as they didn’t believe in her African spirituality.
