Fans of the popular teen series titled Blood and Water can officially celebrate as the streaming service has confirmed that it’s currently in production. Season 1 did exceptionally well considering the fact that most people were copped up in their homes to prevent the spread of the virus. Yesterday Netflix South Africa hinted that the series is currently in production followed by the names of the cast in the picture. This includes Ama Qamata which explains her unexpected disappearance on Mzansi Magic’s Gomora, Khosi Ngema, Dillon Windvogel and Thabang Molaba.

If you’ve never watched Blood and Water you might be wondering what’s the hype behind it. Well, it’s a classic teen series that explored the lives of the students and their families. There’s some fans that have been asking whether Natasha Thahane will be part of season 3 or not considering that she revealed that she is pregnant last month. As it stands there’s no sign of her in the series (well keep you updated on this)

What to expect from season 3

There’s a lot of questions that were left unanswered in season 2 and this includes the mystery behind Puleng dad and phume which has been named as the prime suspect behind her disappearance. We also don’t know who is KB’s mom. Puleng love triangle is also what most people are looking forward to.
