The season 2 finale of Blood and Water left a very bitter taste in our mouths, because that is most definitely not what we were expecting, given that we also did not know if we would be getting another season or not the ending made us so mad.

Well Netflix said “Hold that thought!” as Dorothy Getthuba who is the leader of African Original Netflix Series announced that Netflix has decided to renew the series for season 3.

According to Dorothy, the show is currently under production in Cape Town where it is being shot, she went on to add that their production partners are above and beyond excited about the news.

When asked as to what viewers can expect to see on the new season, she stated that she cannot share deep details, however, viewers should be on the look out for more announcements on the release date, trailers and more exciting news.

On the season 2 finale, we saw Sonia Sedibe holding Ama Qamata hostage after she had revealed the DNA results, so we are definitely head held on that, we want to know what role will Sonia have on the series and why does it seem like she is on the top of the food chain.
