Bonko Khoza, who plays Mqhele on The Wife and his wife Lesego, held their traditional wedding last weekend with their family and friends. The two actors who got married on the 13th of March 2021 are celebrating their first anniversary as husband and wife. The couple hogged headlines on the 13th of March when they celebrated through a photoshoot that they posted on their Instagram accounts.

Bonko Khoza made a lot of headlines when he landed the role of Mqhele, who is the third of the Zulu brothers on The Wife. The actor has gained fame as this is his first lead role in a drama series after many years in the industry. The part in the series has also opened doors of opportunity for the actor. Recently he got a lead role in another drama series called 13 weeks to Find Mr Right.

In the Showmax series, The Wife, he takes on the role of Hlomu’s husband, but in real life, he is married to Lesego, who is also an actress in the entertainment industry. This couple is constantly celebrating their love for each other and openly supporting each other. They have made it public that their union has stayed this firm because they love God and each other.

Over the weekend, the two celebrated being married for a year by holding their traditional marriage. The couple was joined by their families, closest friends, and colleagues. In both their posts, they even quoted the scriptures about love. They also thanked the people who graced their ceremony, saying:

The couple were wearing outfits inspired by traditional Zulu culture. Their costumes were nude and brown with a dash of animal print at the collar. Their dress and suit were supplied by Royalty M&W, where Bonko is known to be a loyal customer. The shoes were by Dripwear, while Sir Kgotso did Lesego’s make-up. Many celebrities and fans congratulated the two on the couple and wished them a beautiful marriage.
