PLANS are being made for a series of events across the country to celebrate Jacob Zuma’s birthday. He turns 80 in April. Mzwanele Manyi, a spokeswoman for the Jacob Zuma Foundation, told this story yesterday. There was a lot of interest in the birthday celebrations from people in other parts of the country.

Celebrations are taking place in different parts of the country. There are still a lot of unknowns about the project, Manyi said.

 

 

 
The foundation’s Twitter account said that tomorrow, the schedule for his birthday celebrations would be released, as well as the themes for each month. In March, the country will be out of a state of emergency because of Covid-19. It is expected that a lot of people will come to the celebrations.Image
