The reality star and wife of polygamist Musa Mseleku, Thobile ‘Makhumalo’ Mseleku who recently joined the elegant cast of Real Housewives of Durban have received backlash from social media users for filming Real Housewives of Durban from her rural home in Mzumbe, KZN.

Fans of the show are disappointed staying that the show is about glamour and mansion and Makhumalo is ignoring that fact.

However, the fans of the family went on to defend her saying it is okay to do what she loves in the comfort of her own home than lose money to buy or rent a townhouse for a show that will end soon.

According to Naledi a Twitter user, “I love Makhumalo but I don’t think she’s a perfect match for the show. The show is about luxury and there is absolutely nothing luxurious about her life.” This left a bitter taste and a lot of people on social media went on to defend Makhumalo saying her house and her life is beautiful enough to fit on the RHOD.

The casting of RHOD usually shows the richest, most elegant, and opulent wives who live in big mansions in big cities but this time Makhumalo is changing the game which is something a lot of people are waiting to see.
