Zikhona Sodlaka is one of the most celebrated actresses in South Africa. Zikhona Sodlaka shot to fame after getting her first leading role in the SABC1 drama series Tsha Tsha. Her popularity grew beyond the borders of South Africa after the series received an Emmy nomination for Best Foreign Language Drama. She was also nominated for the South African Film and Television Awards at one point (SAFTA). Sodlaka won her first performing arts award, the Naledi Theatre Awards, for Best Lead Performance in Nongogo, in the first part of this year.
