The actor who lost his leg due a strange illness that has been named as gangrene, will finally have a new long.

Former Gomora actor, Israel Matseke-Zulu revealed that last year December he had a surgery as his leg was amputated.

 

 
He described losing his leg as something very tedious. It hit him hard and he was very much in denial to accept the situation. Matseke-Zulu resigned in Gomora last year November after he saw that he is really struggling to continue working. At some point he had to do his scenes while seated down as he could hardly stand. This disease was on his leg and caused him lot of pain.

After some advices from his friends, he decided to approach the doctors for medical tests and he was told that he has a gangrene. In November, he had to bid farewell on Gomora and his fans were left heartbroken. After some confusion, his fans thought that Gomora had terminated his contract and that led to them boycotting the soap. It was only after that when he set the record straight that he was not fired but he resigned due to illness.

The veteran actor who has played on Yizo Yizo and Gaz’lam has assured his fans that he would be back on screen very soon. He said that he is waiting for his prosthetic leg which is due to arrive in three months time. Now that he is in high spirit and has accepted his situation, he is ready to continue living life like normal. He said that his mind gave him a struggle as it made his pain prolonging the full recovery. Sometimes he even forgets that he no longer has a leg which led him falling quite a lot.
