This is one of the comments from shocked South Africans after top actor, Patrick Shai allegedly committed suicide. A week ago, a video clip in which Shai was threatening to bit Cassper Nyovest made rounds on social Several fans of Nyovest did not receive the clip well, accusing Shai of being a violent person in nature.

According to Sunday World, the legendary actor Patrick Shai has allegedly committed suicide in the garage at his house in Dobsonville, Soweto. News of his suicide, which have sent shockwaves through the continent, were apparently revealed by a family friend, who did not want to be named for fear of reprisal. Shai’s granddaughter also confirmed the sad news on Facebook.

This news have come as as a very big surprise because the award winning actor seemed happy with all of his roles on television. Here’s what many shocked people are saying on Twitter:
