Sthandwa Nzuza is a radio DJ and actress from South Africa. Her most well-known roles were Imbeleko, Uzalo, and Ifalakhe, all of which she played on television.
Nzuza was born in the Inanda township of KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, on February 9, 1984.
In 2002, she graduated from Cambridge College with a high school diploma.
Since 2017, she has been married to Philani Gama, a Durban preacher.In 2020, she filed a lawsuit against her husband, alleging that he assaulted her.
She was a featured guest on the SABC1 music chat show Zaziwa in 2014. Imbeleko, a Mzansi Magic telefilm, featuring her in 2017. In 2019, she had recurring parts in two television programs: Friendship and Mzansi Magic drama series eHostela. In 2017, she had a recurring role on the SABC1 soap series Uzalo as “Innocentia.” She reprised the role in the third and fourth seasons as it became immensely successful. Following that achievement, Sthandwa was cast as “Nomvula” in the Mzansi Magic drama serial Ifalakhe in 2019.
She has also appeared as a guest star in television shows and sitcoms such as Mtunzini.com, My Perfect Family, and Single Galz, in addition to her featured parts. In the year 2020, she joined the Durban Gen series as “Dr Zandile Mkhize.”
She is a DJ for the radio station “Ukhozi” in addition to acting.
