Previous Generations Tau Mogale’s ‘Rapulana Seiphemo’ flaunts his fiancée, prompting comparisons to his ex-lover.
Rapulana Seiphemo is best known for portraying Tau Mogale in the SABC 1 soap drama Generations The Legacy. Seiphemo left Generations to join the cast of The Queen, in which he portrays Senior Police Officer Hector Sebata, who is in a relationship with Harriet.
Rapulana’s role in Generations The Legacy was written off the screenplay due to gross misconduct; Rapulana and his ex-wife, Zoe Mthiyane, a fellow work college, had a significant fallout, leading to the soapie’s cancellation. When Zoe, who portrayed Zitha Langa on Generations, discovered her husband having an affair with the soap’s administrator Zandile Tshukulu, she went insane.
It is reported that Zoe went into depression and turned to alcohol abuse, hence becoming difficult to work with and being fired from the soapie. Rapulana was shown the exit door for misconduct, which he accepted and moved on with his new lover Zandile Tshukulu.
Rapulana turns to his former Generations girlfriend Connie Ferguson, the proprietor of Ferguson Films, for a role on The Queen after the departure of Generations The Legacy.
Relationship between Rapulana Seiphemo and Zandile Tshukulu
Seiphemo’s Generations job was taken away from him after he began courting Zandile, his employer Mfundi Vundla’s granddaughter. Their connection has grown stronger since the Generations departure incident, with lavish vacations, shopping sprees, and candlelit dinners. The two single parents have mastered the art of keeping their actions under wraps; a formal wedding is rumored to be on the cards for mid-year 2022.
Despite everything being fine, many compared Zandile to Zoe, and some labeled Tau a gold-digger after Mfundi Vundla’s fortunes.
