In the past couple of days there was a video that was circulating on social media which showed the Minister of police Bheki Cele at a club called Coco in Cape Town. Part of that included allegations that his Daughter Khumbuza Cele was spotted partying and wearing a dress that seemed to be quite revealing (with no undies). There are new developments to this story and we have decided to share that with you below.
It has been reported by Police Ministry Spokesperson Lirandzu Themba that Bheki Cele has set the record straight on his latest interview with the media. He told eNCA that he is planning on taking legal actions against Entertainment Commentator Musa Khawula because of false information that was shared to deter his name. According to him, the young lady that was seen dancing happens to not be his daughter.

New years eve was a very hectic day on social media especially with the outbreak of this controversial video. Many felt like Bheki Cele is a very hypocritical person because he always emphasized the downsides of alcohol but he was seen at a club (without wearing a mask). They continued the banter after the presidency announced that the curfew has been lifted ahead of the new year’s eve celebrations and the sale of alcohol has been brought back to its normalcy.
OPINION
It’s important that one verifies information before posting on social media. There’s lot of defamatory statements which have been shared due to “creating content that stands out”. Unfortunately this will only lead to people taking legal actions against you, especially if their reputation and image is on the line. As it stands, no action or an apology was provided by Musa. Make sure that you follow us and be on the loop with this story. Let’s keep the conversation going on the comments section below, we’d love to hear from you.
