The truth, why Muzi Mthebela left imbewu: the seed

Popular television series Imbewu: The Seed has been entertaining mzansi for a while now. Fairly recently actor Muzi Mthabela exited the telenovela and joined Generations: The Legacy. The actor has revealed that he had been wanting to leave the show for a while.

The character he portrays, Menzi got killed by Makhosazana who is played by former Scandal actress Lusanda Mbane. In the telenovela, Menzi was a Casanova who dated multiple women on the show and got buried alive by his girlfriend and his wife Violet.


 

 

 

In an interview, he revealed that the reason for his resignation was in order to spend time with his family in Johannesburg.

The set for imbewu is in Durban and the actor’s family resides in Johannesburg. That he says was the main push factor for resignation from Imbewu. Muzi got tired of only seeing his family once or twice a month and it had always been his plan to work in Johannesburg.

The actor is well known to be a family man, he has also extinguished the assumption that he left mbewu on a sour note. In his words he said “I’m not that kind of person who leaves work in a bad manner.”

He added that joining generations was always on his wish list for a very long time and when the opportunity came about, there was no way he would not grab it.

He has recently made his debut on Generations: The Legacy and plays Siphesihle Cele’s uncle, Nkosiyabo Cele.

The Celes, like the Morokas, are wealthy and have problems with power.

According to the actor, His character will get into business with the Morokas and is going to give the Morokas a hard time as he’s going to fight Siphesihle’s battles.

“There was a dispute between the Morokas and Sphe. Nkanyiso will fight for Sphe and won’t let that dispute slide.”

He won’t let the Morokas get away with mistreating his niece because he’s all she has
