When most actors lost their careers when Isibaya ended, he was lucky that Imbewu picked him up to act there.

After being with the soap for quite some, he decided to leave the Durban based show citing problems of being away from his family which is in Johannesburg.

we reported that Muzi Mthabela has left the etv soap, Imbewu. At the time we wrote that story it was not clear where he is going to act at now as we just discovered he will be joining SABC 1’s Generation The Legacy.

Mthabela took to Instagram to inform his fans about his role on Generations The Legacy, where he will be playing the character of Nkosi Cele, the uncle of Sphesihle Moroka .

He briefly said that Nkosi is a type of person who always ensure that things go according to his plan and he takes delight when that happens. He is a kind of person who loves his family and very protective of them.

Mthabela shared how excited he is about joining Generations as he grew up watching this soap. Basically this is a dream come true for him.

At the time there were legends like Archie Moroka which was a character played by Sello Make kaNcube.

About the main reason for leaving Imbewu, it was just what I said above that he was now missing to spend time with his family as he is a family man. Due to the fact that Imbewu is shot in Durban, he would normally see his family once or maybe twice a month and he really missed them hence he decided to drop Imbewu. Luckily, Generations The Legacy is shot in Johannesburg, which means now he will get to spend time with his family once again.

He is expected to start appearing on Generations: The Legacy as from Thursday the 16th December. This will also be the last time he will be seen in Imbewu this month.
