King Monada wrote, “Our sincere condolences to friends and family of Lil Merry, its so saddening to loose such a young and promising talent in the music industry. May his soul Rest in peace.”

The young singer passed away yesterday after battling a short illness. A number of artists in Limpopo are saddened by the passing of their colleague.

Motlanalo, the Sepedi songstress also expressed her sorrow about the passing of Lil Merry. Details about his passing are still sketchy at the moment, more will be revealed as time goes on.

King Monada is of Limpopo’s most successful artists singing in his home tongue Khelobedu. He is one of the first young artists who embraced singing in vernacular.
