Former Uzalo actress Tee Xaba who allegedly played the role of Sphilile on SABC1 soapie drama Uzalo’s expensive life has been revealed. She made her appearance on the soapy drama when Gabisile a role played by Baby Cele, was looking for a potential daughter-in-law, a wife or his son Sbonelo, a medical doctor that time.

On the popular Soapie drama, Sphilile manage to win her mother-in-law’s heart and managed to marry Sbonelo. But their marriage was short-lived as it failed the test of time as the husband was in Love and married to another character by the name of Nonka.

But many may know her as a former My Kitchen Rules and Idols SA contestant. Xaba is an alleged drama graduate from the University of Kwazulu-Natal and a full-time radio jockey on KZN based East Coast Radio.

According to the actress and radio personality, she revealed that she got the wrong on Uzalo by coincidence, she allegedly revealed that she was auditioning for a different role and subsequently offered a Sphilile character on Uzalo.

“The Uzalo roll was purely accidental, I was auditioning for a different role, and the showrunners saw a fit with the Sphilile role.” She said.

According to reports, ever since the actress left Uzalo, it has been reported that she is focusing on a career as a radio presenter and lifestyle content creator. She allegedly owns a lifestyle YouTube channel named ‘Tee Xaba’ where she post lifestyle videos, mainly food and nutrition. She makes most of their income by advertising product on a social media accounts, it has been reported that she recently backed a deal with top designer label Versace to promote their perfume range.

Unlike the character on Uzalo, Xaba recently according to report weather at her longtime boyfriend and through a traditional Zulu wedding ceremony.

According to Savanna news media publication, it has been reported that through the look of things, she bumped into Richard through her husband and now lives a lavish and expensive lifestyle. Holidays, designer, clothes, cars, and random gifts she flaunts and shows off on social media.

It is reported that the husband is a business man with an interest in construction, travel and tourism.
