Makhadzi Signs A Whopping R120-Million DEAL

There is a commonly used proverbial adage which is says, “when it’s your time to shine, it is your time to shine, and nobody can stop you.” This quote can be easily applied to the life of South African musician, Ndivhudzannyi ‘Makhadzi’ Ralivhona, who has really defied the odds by coming from humble beginnings to being one the hottest properties in SA music at the point in time.

 

 

 

Makhadzi’s journey to success has not really being a plain sailing, for a period of eon, her music could not penetrate a much more larger urban market, but she kept on dropping gems after gems for her religiously supportive stronghold of the rural Venda.

However, the period upon the nascent of the Covid-19 pandemic has seen her market currency skyrocket to incredible levels, she has made songs with virtually every hot artist in the country.

And quite positively, this has also changed her profile from just being an artist to a successful businesswoman. Another perfect demonstration of her business acumen was evident this morning, as she took to micro-blogging site Twitter, to announce that she has signed a deal worth a whopping R120 million with Sportswear brand, Kickssportswear SA to “create products that will reflect everything she is and represents.”

She indicated to her adoring fans that she will be announcing more details pertaining to the deal and they have to watch out for it.

Maybe you are wondering how a small company as Kickssportswear can sign Makhadzi for such a gargantuan figure, here is the catch, the deal is probably similar to the R100 million of Cassper Nyovest with Sneaker brand, Drip.

For the duration of her contract, Makhadzi will be expected to make products that are worth R120-Million for Kickssportswear, that is if sales are moving.

Makhadzi’s fans having accounts with numerous followers reacted to the beautiful news, with many inducting that it was a ‘legacy deal’ with hallmarks of black excellence.

Indeed, one is greatly impressed by what Makhadzi has managed to achieve in her career with odds hugely stacked against her.
