Seabi said: “Seipati has always been very respectful, caring, compassionate and loving towards Lerumo, but things become tricky for the Chabedi family when Seipati refuses to get married if it means she needs to reach out to her family.

“Viewers can definitely expect a beautiful, joyous celebration between two families, and a little drama here and there of course.”

After revealing the truth about what happened in the past, Seipati and Lerumo travel to find Seipati’s family, only to find out that her mother has died, and that her sister, Ditshelo, has not forgiven her for what happened many years ago.

Seipati’s son, Tibi, gets involved and reaches out to Seipati’s family, a successful gesture as Seipati’s father and Ditshelo then travel to Soweto the next day to celebrate the matrimony.

Seabi said: “The wardrobe team made sure I was involved in the making of the dress until the very end. I was also allowed to have a say in the design. It’s such a stunning dress, I can’t wait for everyone to see it!”

She said there was much to look forward to from Seipati for viewers in the coming weeks.

“Even more layers of who she is will be peeled away and revealed. Viewers can also expect to find out some shocking truths about Seipati. Hopefully no-one judges her but understands where she was coming from.”

New faces were introduced to the long-running soapie in October, with 18-year-old Tshiamo Molobi, playing the character of Lebo, being one of them.

Lebo is Tebello’s (Tibi’s) friend from Soweto. A former Rhythm City actor Molobi said: “The character I portray is still finding himself and battles with inner conflicts, and this is shown in some of his decisions.

“Lebo is from Soweto and he is street smart and also book smart. He has the potential to achieve great things, but is set back because of his own actions and the actions of others.

“Viewers can expect to meet a character who will make them resent him and wish he was never introduced to the story.

“But as time goes on I think the audience will grow to enjoy seeing Lebo on their TV screens.”

The actor grew up in Fourways, north of Johannesburg, as an only child raised by a single mom.

He said: “Lebo is different from Tshiamo in terms of his family background and where he comes from.

“My character comes from a very harsh home and succumbs to the negative influences that surround him, unlike my background.”
