The of the moment on the most watched telenovela Imbewu-The Seed, has allegedly called it quits from the show according to reports.
It is alleged that the seasoned South African actor has dumped the eTV drama series Imbewu-The Seed due to his on-screen character. According to reports, it is rumoured that the actor has already left the drama series set after a mutual agreement.
Before coming to the telenovela, he was best known for his unmatched talent as Duma on the now exed drama series Isibaya. And now he was doing great on Imbewu-The Seed as Menzi.

According to reports it has been revealed that the actor formally requested to be excused from the show. In the wake of his exit, it has been revealed that the actor indicated that his character was now too much to handle.
An inside source has it that the character which place was not fit for his personal life.
“The source revealed that he is becoming frustrated with his Casanova role, which was not sitting well with his personal life, as he is a devoted Christian church member and is married,” revealed the source.
However, the source went on to reveal more about the reason behind the actors exit. Honestly, he was tired of his role and it came to a point where he said it is enough.
It is alleged that he was not ok with his storyline changing women and getting intimacy while he is a God fearing man in real life. During his time when he joined the telenovela he never thought that things could go south and be as it is right now. According to Savannah media publication, the seasoned actor has also confirmed his exit from the telenovela.
According to reports, when he returned to Johannesburg he thought he was going to join Generations the Legacy, but then things didn’t go well as he ended up becoming a cast member of Imbewu-The Seed.
I did auditions for generations the Legacy, but they took someone else,” said Mthabela.
On his confirmation of living the telenovela, this is an actor did indicate that he was not leaving the drama on a wrong note.
“I am leaving the show; that part is genuine. I have not renewed my contract for next year because I have to go back to Johannesburg to be with my children.
“I had an agreement with my wife that we will give Imbewu-The Seed a try for a year to see how it will be for us as a family.”
The show producers have also confirmed the exit but did not rule out the fact that the actor might return to the drama series.
