Award-winning stand-up comedian Sifiso Nene is ready to leave comedy lovers in stitches again.
He is returning with his comedy project Baby Mama Drama.
He said after the successful first instalment, he decided to come back with the second one.
“I thought after I exhausted all the drama tendencies of baby mamas on Baby Mama Drama 1 six years ago, it would be difficult to come up with a second round. But there’s a lot of drama related to baby mamas, especially during this Covid-19 pandemic period,” said Sifiso.
The Baby Mama Drama 2 show will be held at the Lyric Theatre in Gold Reef City in Joburg on 27 November.
He said comedy lovers can expect to laugh their lungs out.
The comedian from KZN launched his career in 2009 when he won SABC1’s So You Think You’re Funny where he won R100 000.
Sifiso’s comedy skills also landed him a role in David Kau’s film Taxi Ride, where he played the role of arrogant taxi driver Bhakabhaka.
He also won two Comics’ Choice Awards in 2012 and 2013 in the Audience Choice category.
He said Baby Mama Drama 2 is not only about making fun of the drama, but will also assist with solutions for people facing that kind of drama.
“And I give solutions in a funny way,” he said.
Tickets for the show are available at Computicket at R200 and R240.
