Actress Lusanda Mbane, better known for her job as Boniswa Langa in Scandal!, has said goodbye to the show and Mzansi couldn’t be sadder to see their fave scoundrel go.
After Wednesday night’s episode of the hit TV series Scandal!, Mzansi was left with an opening in their hearts after the shrewdness and scheming Boniswa made her exit from the show when her person passed on, leaving fans needing more from the famous actress.
Boniswa, the star’s dearest character, is a devious, villainous lady whom Mzansi has developed to cherish over the seasons of the hit soapie.
“I leave Boniswa as a celebrated, amazing, undiluted miscreant. This is the finish of her excursion and she will presently stay just in my heart and will keep on living through the millions who keep on giving me the best Boniswa Langa quotes and impersonations consistently. I love all of you,” she said in a statement to TshisaLIVE last month.
Fans took to Twitter after the news of Boniswa leaving the show arose last evening.
Many were grief-stricken to see their #1 antagonist leave their screens, while others wished Lusanda the best after her stellar exhibition in the show.
Since her person has kicked the bucket on the show, she’s hoping to focus on developing her business. Visiting TshisaLIVE on the TshisaPOD, pondering Boniswa, the star uncovered that the job was troublesome because of the dull idea of her person.
“I realized I needed to stay five years because I needed to develop the person, however around two years into it I started figuring the five years wouldn’t occur because that is the point at which she (the person) started getting dull. We chose this year would be the year I’m going to close the part on Boniswa,” she told TshisaLIVE.
Playing a villainous person was a “burdening exercise” that necessary her to delve profoundly into her own emotions.
