Msizi, who worked in television and radio, died on Sunday in a car accident on the N2 from Richards Bay to Durban. As it turned out, he was busy filming the show which will showcase the lives of rural women, living a high standard of living.

The program will also focus on women in the business sector. M-net spokesperson Lucky Mangela said although they did not know much about the program, it would not be affected by its recording and launch on their channel.

A lot has been recorded so we don’t see any problems with its launch. We can’t really talk about it but 1Magic worked with Msizi to record it, as it was his and he had a lot to think about and he came up with ideas for it, ”Lucky explained. M-Net has expressed its sadness at the passing of Msizi who had been looking to work with them on various issues.

Nomsa Philiso, M-Net’s director of local programming, said that as M-Net they were very sympathetic to the Nkosi family, friends and colleagues who had worked with Msizi’s death. She said they also appealed to the family to be given time to accept the difficult situation they were facing

My heart is so shattered by his sad passing, I have no words to express the pain I’m feeling right now. I was so looking forward to meeting him and to talk about his book and his recovery from substance abuse. I keep asking myself why Oh God why him ? This is the guy that touched our lives and wanted to make a world a better place

To his close friends, colleagues and most of all his beloved family, may you find comfort knowing that we all loved Msizi and appreciated him dearly. May you submit all your sorrow unto God and allow him to soothe your wounded hearts. Msizi Edgar Nkosi my brother may you truly rest in power, your memory will live on and will forever miss you. Much love and respect Pablo Stone SA
