Sophie Ndaba is back in the spotlight

The former “Generations” star Sofie Ndaba is back in the spotlight stronger and better. The talented actress Sophie Ndaba is back in the spotlight, following a long hiatus from the public eye. After battling the illness and defying death, she is once again back on or small screens with a leading role. Speaking about her recovery, Sophie expressed how grateful she is to be alive after so many media reports of her death. This time the former Generations star is not only back on our TV screens but is adding her voice on the radio.

Although the actress’s looks of once being chubby drew concerns from many, others used it to body shame her. However, she soon made it clear in an interview that she had diabetes. She revealed that it was the sickness that cost her some kilos since 2017. Now the award-winning actress has recently joined the newly re-imagined Radio BOP. She is now hosting Saturday lifestyle show called #TheRadioBopLifestyleShow. She is also a guest actress on Abakwazwide which recently launched. It doesn’t end there, She is also working on SABC 1’s Family Secrets, an associate producer.


During her interview she said COVID-19 has blocked her favourite part, which is planning fabulous events. She’s recovery slowly but surely picking up. She further added by saying that she’s planning more for end of the year and more for next year. “Yes, I am still doing weddings but they are more bespoke. I will still be doing individual weddings for people who don’t have time to plan,” she said.
