Bonginkosi Dlamini who is largely recognized nationally by his stage name, Zola 7, is a veteran Kwaito artist, actor, entrepreneur and philanthropist.

His first debut on the small screens was on the second season of SABC 1’s drama series, Yizo Yizo. Around the same era, he got signed by Lance at Ghetto Ruff as a Kwaito musician.

It wasn’t long before Zola expanded into other avenues. He introduced his own clothing line in the SA fashion industry. While at it, he also became a host on SABC 1’s Zola 7; a TV show where Zola made people’s dreams become a reality within 3 days.

Although Zola has been dubbed an OG and a philanthropist in the entertainment industry, his career has faced a downward spiral over the years after he’d had a feud with the mother of his child.Quite recently, when he was on a MacGee podcast, Zola revealed that he is epileptic and the epilepsy only started a few years ago, but has been getting worse, as he cannot even drive a car now after he’d experienced an epileptic attack whilst he was driving.
