You can’t miss the fact that she has a serious entourage surrounding her and she looks like a proper superstar. She can be seen traveling with a couple of her crew and about 3-4 bodyguards with her, this is something you rarely see from her when she is in South Africa.
Things are definitely falling into place for her as she also earned a nomination for the upcoming SAMA awards for Best Female. Nomcebo is also nomited double in the song of the year category for her collaborations with Master KG on ‘Jerusalem’ & ‘Xola Moya Wam’. It is amazing to see a talented and disciplined individual win after putting in the work for many years.
This goes to show that South Africans don’t appreciate their own as much as they in other countries. There are too many politics in the music industry and other entertainers are rarely ever celebrated until they do something big like Jerusalem, still they aren’t receiving the respect and honor their deserve in their own backyard. We’ve seen this happen to many times, however she was unfortunate that she became so big that she couldn’t be ignored anymore.
