The popular host of Imvuselelo and Ukholo Nengqiqo on Umhlobo Wenene said he had been by his wife’s side in hospital, praying and hoping that she will wake up fine the following day and ready to return home.
 

 

The couple had been involved in a car accident earlier and according to Rev. she was fully recovering from the injuries, then Covid-19 attacked both of them.

This is the sad reality we living with nowadays, this virus is taking away people’s loved one and we do not even know when it’s going to disappear but to some people the fact that it happened will not disappear…because they lost loved ones in the process.

The couple had been married for 25 years and we have two daughters named Oyena (9) and Obenathi (11). Rev. is now sad that something they both lived for will be raised by him alone as the mother has left them behind, so far their academics are still good but he does not know if they will be changes along the way due to the emotional strain.
