AKA has made his return to the public space after the loss of fiancé Nelli Tembe. Though he has asked for privacy, it seems the rapper is slowly picking up the pieces, despite still dealing with heartbreak. The famous hip-hop rapper has been going through a lot since last month when he lost his fiancé Nelli Thembe.
The public was after him when his wife took he
r own life. Most people wanted to know the real reason why she decided to end her own life. The star has been unwell and decided to lay low for a while. But now that he is back in the public space, he is ready to work again, after the tragic death of his fiancé Anele “Nelli”.Nelli died at the age of 22 after falling from the 10th floor of the Pepperclub Hotel in Cape Town last month. Many people have been speculating about the real cause of her death. Dealing with his loss, the star went to his Instagram account and posted a snap of himself captioned with a Bible verse. He quoted a scripture found in the book of John 16:33, which reads thus: “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world, you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”
Seems like AKA is more than prepared to take on the world again. He is set to perform at Huawei Joburg Day this month joined by Black Motion, Goodluck, DJ Zinhle and MiCasa. This will be his first performances since the tragic incident.
The death of his fiancé made headlines and many people showed support as they sought counselling for him to deal with the grief. After the incident, The star finally broke his silence and decided to address his fans about dealing with grief. He lost the love of his life. Someone whom he was prepared to marry.
He says everyday feels like a mountain to climb, and he really misses his fiancé so much. Aka was heartbroken about the unfulfilled life he had planned with his fiancé Nelli Thembe. He further added that, the death of his fiancée really took a great toll on him emotionally and physiologically. The police are still investigating the circumstances surrounding Nellis death.
