Sangomas are most popular for their gift of healing people whether physically, emotionally, or spiritually but they are also known for their ability to see what other ordinary people cannot see and it is evident that TV presenter and rapper Boitumelo ‘Boity’ Thulo is a gifted Sangoma and she is using her gift to help others.The Bakae hit-maker was the first to know and break the good news to the content creator and digital brand strategist Siyanda Dzenga popularly known as Siya Bunny that she is pregnant. Siya who is few months pregnant now shared the story on her Instagram .
“…and then a week later I get a DM from Boity, the sangoma rapper, Boity is like, girl you is pregnant,” she said.
Siya got married in 2019, sharing the news with her followers, she posted: “I actually cannot believe the day is so near, on Saturday my family will officially be handing me over to the love of my life and join our families. I have never been this thrilled and completely looking forward to forever with my love.”
Siya’s story wowed many social media users, Hlehle tweeted: “Boity randomly dm’ing Siya bunny to tell her she’s pregnant and the test coming back positive is something else, I’m going to need just 10 minutes of her time.”Boity revealed that she is a sangoma back in 2016. During her interview then on Fresh Breakfast on Metro FM, Boity said she needs people to understand that Boity is her work and Boitumelo Thulo is her personal life, she said the journey of becoming a sangoma was not hard but it was long”
“It is slightly scary because you have a lot of questions and you also ask yourself am I supposed to be here, am I doing the right thing, that is why it is very important to surround yourself with people who are going to guide you wholeheartedly, truthfully and authentically. It was not hard but it was daunting because it was a long journey. My hardest part was finding someone who is really authentic who could walk me through this and teach me without including Boity in the mix and not being affected by Boity,” she said.
Boity has since embraced her calling fully, she even tweeted: “People are gonna have to get used to seeing me with snuff in public hey, The stares are will,” she tweeted back in 2019.
