AT 41, model Thando Mbokazi is still longing for a crown.
From Durban, the beauty is a semi-finalist in this year’s Mrs South Africa.
She said she used modelling to encourage other women that age was just a number.
“No matter how old you are, you can still rock a bikini and slay. You can still achieve more. Age does not matter at all,” said Thando.
She started modelling in 1994 when she joined Academy Models, and has never looked back.
“The journey has not been easy. But as a passionate and dedicated model, I always manage to overcome any challenge that comes with my career,” said Thando.
She has participated in different beauty contests including Miss Kaizer Chiefs, Miss AmaZulu FC and Miss Inyanda Chamber of Business.
“My wish is to be crowned Mrs SA in a ceremony that will take place at the Emperors Palace in November. That will be one of my greatest achievements,” she said.
