South African students kicked off a national shutdown this Monday, after a call by the powerful South African Students Congress (Sasco) for a total shutdown was made.
Sasco secretary-general Buthanani Thobela said the main demand was that all students be allowed to register. While students flood major areas in the country, Prince Kaybee revealed his desire to join them, and some minutes later it was evident in a video that the music producer was protesting with them.
Where is the #NationalShutDown protest taking place for students today. I wanna come join🙏🏾

I support the National Shutdown. Students must sideline SASCO in this fight because they sold out last week when they marched with ANC. ANC is playing with students, as governing party it has powers to declare free education. #FreeEducationNow #FeesMustFall #NationalShutdown pic.twitter.com/EPGDHsOLyE
