KZN-born singer and producer, TNS, has dropped his widely anticipated album, Phupholethu, which is available on all platforms.
TNS has delivered top-quality music, yet again, on this second studio album. This 14-track/double-disc album is where TNS showcases his extensive musical talent, not only through production and vocals but through thorough mixing as well.
The entire project encapsulates house beats and includes features from Durban’s finest industry legends; Prince Kaybee, Professor, Madannon, and Mampintsha, just to name a few.His current hit single from the album, Zodwa Wabantu, features Danger, his newly signed artists, Luqua, and Peela as well Zodwa Wabantu. It is his third release single following Nyathela and iBhari.
Phupholethu, meaning ‘our dream’, is also the name he gave his newborn son. Ringing true to the name, TNS says that his dream is to save South African music with this album. “2021 is the year of house music” he adds.The album was his long-awaited dream and honors his Grandparents who raised him and supported his musical journey, he named it “MADLOKOVU” after his late grandfather, who passed on a few years ago.
His official single “Umona” went on to reach Gold status and charted on the radio for over 33 weeks in the Top 100 Airplay Charts and the video generated over 7 million views on Youtube
Another musician who dropped an album that has been trending on Twitter with many people complimenting is Prince Kaybee. The musician has been counting down the days to his official album release date and it is finally here. The album is titled The 4th Republic and it comprises 24 tracks.
