UZALO is a provocative, bold, and authentic narrative that tells the story of two family dynasties, the Mdletshes, and the Xulus, and the two young men who carry their hopes and legacy’s. The show started on the 9th of February 2015 on sabc1. Bongi Ndaba and Phatu Makwarela are the writers of the show. Uzalo one of the favorite soapie in Mzansi with more than nine million audiences. In 2020 it was on top of the list with 9,1 Million views followed by Generations the legacy.

In 2019 many characters were cut off from Uzalo as others were fired while others were just suspended because of bad behavior. The GC character played by Khaya Dladla was taken out of the show, Mastermind was suspended while Mxolisi was rumored to be fired from the show. Even Thobile the character played by Nokuthula Mabika was written off.

Many people are so happy as the show has announced that their old cast is coming back for season 6. The show is even added new faces. Mamkhize who is the Durban businesswoman was added to the show even Khabunina is one of the new faces to be on the show. Khaya Dladla and Thobile Mabika are also coming back.
