It was reported on Sunday that Reagan Arendse has passed away. Arendse was a South African actor best known for his role as Woelag in the kykNET & kie soapie Arendsvlei. He was born on the 6th of May 1987 in Paarl in CapeTown. Reagan also had a starring role as Willie Hendriks in the SABC2 mini-series Riemvasmaak, in 2008. He died on 14 February 2021 at the age of 34 years.
The family confirmed that Arendse committed suicide after he lost his battle with depression and succumbed to the disease through suicide.

Ceagan died on Saturday, and the cause of death has not been made public.
Besides his role in on kykNET & Kie (DStv 145), he also appeared in kykNET’s as Frankie, as Theo, and the SABC2 miniseries in 2008 as Willie Hendriks.
He can also be seen in the British series as a prison guard and is set to appear in the new Showmax Original series, as Warren – the black sheep of the family.
In a statement, kykNet said: “We received the bad news this weekend that actor Ceagan Arendse has passed away. He was a beloved actor who appeared in several series like and . We’re thinking of his loved ones and family.”

It was always a pleasure working with him on various productions. He will be remembered as a kind, hardworking artist. Our hearts and prayers are with his family and friends at this time.”
