Gugu Gumede who is known for her role in the television show called UZalo that is aired every week days from 20:30-21:00 on SABC 1. She was born in 1992 which means that she is currently 29 years old from now. She was born and bred in Kwazulu Natal, and she was born to prominent parents, her dad being the late Simon Hulumeni Gumede and her mama is the celebrated freedom fighter, Zanele kaMagwaza-Msibi.
In 2013, Gugu Gumede returned from the United States and landed a role as Mandisa in Generations The Legacy, one of the most successful shows in South Africa. In 2015, Gugu was cast to portray the character of Mamlambo on the most viewed television show in South Africa, Uzalo.In the television show she plays a role whereas she is Nkinzi’s wife. She took Nkinzi from her best friend who was Mangcobo, then that was when the friendship ended. This two stayed in the same house while they were competing for their husbands love.

Gugu in real life does not have any children and she is not yet married. She is just focusing on her career and her self. She seems more beautiful in life and way better than the way people see her on UZalo where she is always covered with long skirts.
