Actress Baby Cele-Maloka who just finished acting the role of Gabisile in the soapie series; Uzalo on SABC1; has revealed that she is part of the cast that will appear on a new eTV series.

Baby Cele; posted a picture depicting her and another actor who was last seen in Isidingo; Lindani Nkosi; and said they will be a married couple called the Nkosi’s in this new show.“We introduce Mr and Nrs Nkosi; whom you will watch in an upcoming new show; on etv.” Wrote Baby Cele.

Recently; a local newspaper tried many times to contact Baby Cele to find out about the ending of her role in Uzalo; but they were unable to do so as they were told that she is on the shoot for a new show.

The local newspaper reported about the show that will replace Rhythm City; shown weekly at 7 p.m. which was announced to be ending in July; after 13 years.

The arrangements for the new replacement show are highly advanced because the production company is now in place and has started the shooting of the show.

“The news of the show called House of Zwide is still hush hush. Though the management of Bomb Production do not want to come out about it; it has emerged that they have found a new home at etv; it is believed that; House of Zwide will replace Rhythm City.” Said the source.

The source revealed that many actors from the now defunct; Isibaya will move to House of Zwide to spice up the show.

The head of locally produced shows on etv; Helga Palmer; talking to the local newspaper about the new show; said that they are currently focussing on Rhythm City until it comes to the end.

When Rhythm City ends; this will be followed by the announcement of the end of Isibaya in Mzansi Magic; which will be at the end of April.

On SABC 2; on the other hand; time has been decreased for the show; Muvhango since it now plays three times a week; from Monday to Wednesday.

The same channel has re-introduced the show; Giyani.
