Taking to Instagram, the Unmarried actress penned a sweet message to her hubby as they celebrate seven long years of marriage today. The actress thanked her hubby for doing this thing called life with her and wished for many more celebrations to come.“Shota, Mkhwibisha, Ntshengele, Shlahlesihle 🙇🏽♀️Thank you for walking this crazy life journey with me, always by my side❤️ Happy 7th anniversary my love!🥂And a lifetime to go” Phumeza wrote.

The couple met in the music industry in 2007 when they were both still establishing themselves in the music industry. After dating for a couple of years, Shota then paid lobola in 2012 and they legitimized their union at home affairs in 2014.The lovebirds have gone on to have four adorable children, and as happy as they look, the Mdabe’s have had their fair share of ups and downs.

Phumeza and Shota have opened up about the dynamics of their relationships in many interviews and have also shared their experience of dealing with the challenges that came when their son Mpilo was diagnosed with stage 4 eye cancer.
The ‘Abandoned’ host has shared how her sons illness has challenged her family in every way possible however, she is using the tough period as a life lesson to appreciate every moment that life has given and not let life limit or come in the way of her son living a happy life.
