A mole told the publication that the actress is overflowing with joy as she is expecting, but wants to keep the pregnancy a secret so that she can announce it when the time is right.

It seems as though the actress can no longer keep things on the low, as she has finally announced her pregnancy. The doting mommy-to-be is overflowed with joy and she has finally taken to Instagram to announce the very good news. “God is doing a new thing,” she captioned her pregnancy revealing picture.
Before announcing her pregnancy, Zikhona had instructed the directors of the show she stars in to not show her baby bump on television when filming. This is done to protect her unborn baby as well as her, because it is believed that pregnancy is a sacred experience.
“Being a mother has always been Zikhona’s dream but work commitments and not finding the right person to father her baby was a big problem for her. She is over the moon. She kept her pregnancy a secret because she did not want to bring bad luck on the pregnancy,” a source told the publication.
“Zikhona is in good spirits and she had also been working on baby shoot concepts for her fans, which she intends to publish on her social media pages.”The actress had previously posted a video where she had a visible baby bump but still remained mum about it. Actress Manaka Ranaka is also expecting and she too is on pregnancy leave. She plays Lucy Diale on the hit SABC 1 soapie Generations: The Legacy.
Manaka is just weeks away from welcoming her baby and she has not revealed the gender. She is a proud grandmother as her eldest daughter Katlego also gave birth a few weeks ago.
Although motherhood is not anything new to her because she has two grown daughters, the actress told Daily Sun that the experience is nothing new. She has also slammed those who hold boy children at the highest honor than girls.
“It’s the same feeling I felt when I had my two daughters, so this experience is nothing new. People have been saying they hope I’m carrying a boy, but we’ll see. I look forward to giving birth to a child. I don’t care if it’s a boy or a girl, as long as it’s not an animal,” she laughed.
