A lot of people wonder why followers of the self-proclaimed prophet Shepherd Bushiri follow him despite all that has come to light about the prophet who is currently facing multiple charges in South Africa and has fled despite his bail conditions.

Not only are his followers loyal servants, but they would take a bullet for their papa. Some of his followers have decided to shed some light about why they as followers do the things they do

According to southafricans-news.com, the Enlightened Christian Gathering church member has opened up about what is in the anointing oil and stickers that followers keep buying. Not only are these goods expensive and making more money for Bushiri, but his members swear that they work.

Marcellus L. Ngobeni ( the follower) says that the stickers protect them because God uses them from the prophet’s prayer.

“Reason we buy stickers it means that they do protect us.. We’re not fools to buy something that doesn’t work.. And to go deeper it’s not a sticker that protects us its God through the prayer in that sticker..”- Bushiri’s Church Member

The southafrican-news.com further reported that the above tweet came after a tweep questioned Bushiri’s followers why they rely on anointing oils and stickers whereas their leaders rely on bodyguards and not the stickers, meaning that the leaders know that they do not work.

Another church member claims that the stickers are dipped into the blood of Jesus and that Bushiri’s power is within the sticker and it brings them riches.

“The sticker is dipped in the blood of Jesus, it is blessed with the power of Papa. It invokes Papa’s name before the host of angels who fly over and protect those who have it. The sticker is the holy spirit, it brings riches and honour.”- Moshomane, Bushiri’s follower.
