Sunday World reports that her exit will be dramatic so fans can anticipate some exciting drama.
When she first left the soapie in 2018 where she portrayed the role of Matshidiso for about four years, she previously told Tshisalive that her exit was to explore other characters and also allow her to focus on her music. She did admit however that it was a very scary decision to make seeing how she blew up because of the soapie.
“This is where I started and learnt almost everything I know. I have learnt so much, but I had to be honest with myself and realise I have done my part. I want to explore other things. It is scary but I will be on one or two other projects in the coming months and it will allow me the time to work on my music.”
Her return in January excited many fans this year as they would get to see the gorgeous and voluptuous actress knock heads with her villain husband KK.
The news was confirmed by the beaut after she was spotted at SABC’s headquarters in Auckland Park, where Muvhango is recorded.
“I’m excited about coming back to Muvhango because it was my breakout role, so it’s good to be back,” she told the Daily Sun at the time.
Her return was to help keep Muvhango afloat because they were allegedly skating on thin ice with the broadcaster for their very low viewership. A source revealed this to the publication saying; “She’s back to play the wicked character viewers loved to hate. The producers are trying to get Muvhango on the radar again because the ratings have dipped since the departure of some of the show’s loved characters.”
She told ZAlebs that this is year and definitely is, from her partnerships and lingerie brands that she always works with, to her much anticipated role on Kings Of Joburg, yeap we agree, it is her year!
“This is my year I am taking over everything that’s mine with God on my side. I can’t even tell but watch and see as Buhle Samuels flies high. They say the sky is the limit. I say I want it all the ocean and the sky. It’s my time and it’s my year.”
The actress’s plans are already working in her favour as she recently starred on Netflix’s series Kings Of Joburg, as the feisty Angela Masire.
The 6-part series talks about the legacy building, fragmented family structures, treacherous brotherhoods, and the effects of crime and African masculinities on families and society at large. Loyalties will be tested, with long-held secrets threatening to shatter the fragile facade the Masire family has created.
