2020 has unarguably presented itself with so many wonders both bad and good that left people with nothing much to say. Although the pandemic has turned almost the year into a long occurring nightmare, at least in Mzansi people had and still have something to keep them hyped up.

The stocko girls who rose to stardom after a birthday celebration of one of their own gave many people hope that happiness isn’t a ready-made thing that present itself to us. However each one of us must work very hard to create it. After the video circulated on social media, they quickly became an overnight sensation.

As they gained lot of attention nationwide, so did the John Vul’igate hit song. The track became Mzansi’s favorite as people started downloading it to take part in what was dubbed the #johnvuligate challenge. But now it seems like the victory was short-lived for the once popular track and it’s all because the girls who helped to make it a sensation are now cementing their own path.

It came as a surprise when the group leader also dubbed as the Beyoncé of the original crew announced on her social media platforms that she and her girl were working on their own song. But fans couldn’t help to notice that the rest of crew members are missing. Obviously the song only features two of the original members and they have also taken their time to tease their fans with a snippet of the song and Oh Boy…this December everyone will turn up the volume.

The song is titled Marashi in collaboration with an upcoming creative hub called Private Proparty. Already the song is a hit as it has managed to cause major storms on Twitter when people saw the video that Katt Arianna posted. Although all what fans can hear is “HALALA HILILI HOOO,” nothing stops them from singing that part. Here’s what they had to say so far.
