Ace Magashule’s son who allegedly received a Covid-19 tender from the Free State Provincial Government, apparently bought a BMW X7 of R2 million in August 2020.
However, no clear connection exists between the tenders to the Magashule brothers and the luxury BMW car.
The Magashule brothers claimed in response to inquiries that reports of the purchase of the BMW were malicious and an attempt to attack their father. They did not want to say where they got the money to buy such an expensive car.
Motheko Projects, with Tshepiso Magashule as sole director, won a tender to supply liquid soap and masks worth R2 290 000 to the Free State Government.
Marvel Deeds, with Thato Magashule as director, won a tender of R427 221 to provide hand sanitizers to the Free State Government.
According to reliable sources, they also have other business operations from which the luxury car could be funded.
The car was reportedly delivered to one of Magashule’s son’s in Bloemfontein in August. Armand Cloete, FF Plus MP of the National Council of Provinces – says that the FF Plus is very concerned about the future of South Africa, being that Ace Magashule is one of the most powerful members, if not the most powerful, in the ANC is.
