Lurcia opened up about the way she grew up as a stepdaughter to a father and experienced abuse and feeling deserted because she was not his child. She is now in a blended family with her husband, Mandela Khumalo. She spoke about how she prefers to call it his biological son who is her stepchild to her own and loves him and like she carried him like she gave birth to him. She added I told myself very early on that Ajay has four parents, and I’m not trying to replace his mother. I love him so much and it has given our children, so much, is to love each other as siblings and not as step siblings says that Mrs Khumalo.
She came into the representation of her culture, Lurcia broke tears as she explains how a colored culture is made fun of all marked to be drunkards, no front teeth and have no culture. But the truth is, they were robbed of the land in exchange of alcohol. And that is how they became alcoholics acquired a jaw dropping revelation as nausea also reveals that colors will remove the frontier, so they are not able to speak their home languages and be ripped off their culture.
I stand at a position to represent my culture, you check in all those shows a podcaster that there is no come as representatives, we are not given any literals, I am not black enough to be given certain roles, neither was I wide enough for any party the benefits. At this point, I can only study so much about who I am and where I come from, so I can stand and talk to people about what I know is what Mrs Khumalo also spoke about the experience of being a Zulu wife, nobody teaches you to be a minority in the colored community, women are leaders, they face the problem head on, but very much different with Zulu culture.
So I am doing a lot of life alterations but I am enjoying every bit of it. I enjoy being a mom and wife. I would make a career out of it.
