South Africa is one of the world’s biggest exporter when it comes to talent wether in sports or entertainment, this country stays rich with talent.

It is common for celebrities to jetset and travel the globe, however some stars book a one way ticket and never come back, either for work or personal reasons, let’s take a look at South African celebrities the public has forgotten about after moving overseas.

1. Asanda Foji

The star only had one memorable role on television screens when she played the role of Phiwe on the first season of Generations The Legacy. She is now residing in Amsterdam in Netherlands, having moved with her family & is currently studying drama.

2. Sade Gilberti

The former Yo-tv star moved to the UK permanently in 2015 and is currently residing in London. She is still flexinh her presenting skills and has starred on an award winning web series Spectrum London.

3. Thuso Mbedu

The Emmy award nominee and star actress mostly famous for her role as Kitso on Scandal! moved to the United States of America in 2018 and has starred in an Amazon original series, The Underground Railroad as she flies Mzansi’s flag high.

4. Candice Pillay

The Durban Born musician and songwriter moved to California in 2016 to persued her career on the big stage and has since appeared on albums like Dr Dre’s Compton. She has also produced songs for rthe likes of Christina Aguilera & Rihanna.

5. Mandisa Nakana Taylor

Another former Yo-tv star who is currently based in the UK after moving permanently and is now a proud mother and wife. She has 3 kids and has put down her entertainment career for a modest job as a teacher at a primary school in London.
