It may seem that with all that the multi-talented Artist, dancer and now chef Somizi have achieved he still has a bit of a dark side and secrets he keeps from the public. He has admitted in a life on Instagram that 2020 is his best year no doubt, Even with the pandemic he managed to make the best out of it.
He said that his marriage is going well with Mohale and he never imagined he could be that happy on his life, his businesses are also booming at the current moment but he revealed one secret that shocked the country’s audience. He said that he was doing it to show South Africa that even famous and rich people are going through the most and people should not be treating them like Gods.
In this life, he admitted that his secret is that he is dealing with massive depressing and anxiety. He admitted to the facts that he was diagnosed by a doctor last year of his depresiion and he had though he was dealing with it but it keeps on coming back. He said he is not sure if it is because he hasn’t dealt fully with his mother’s passing or not.
The celebrity life requires not a lot of rest. When Somizi’s mother died, he had to continue being an active celebrity. He posted on Twitter about it, he received a lot of condolences of which he felt somewhere real and some were fake. He then had to go through the whole process publicly which gave him no time to be alone and take everything in. A couple of weeks later he was already back in the lime light.
He also shared the fact that he is really having a lot of anxiety. With him being the bubly person that he is, people thought he was the most confident person on the world. Yet he said he has constant anxiety which he said could be a disorder. He always feels like something could go wrong at any time.
It seems the secret has been out of the bag. Somizi is a very normal human being despite his fame. He is resolving his depression and admitted that he needs to deal with his anxiety as it really locks in at the worst of moments.
