They say practice makes perfect, and one person who has been hard at work perfecting her Zulu accent is Connie Ferguson.

The actress is one of Mzansi’s celebs, who always tries to be multilingual in order to accommodate everyone, despite becoming a laughing stock on the internet with her accent, Connie simply does not give up!
It is no secret that there is nothing more heart-warming than seeing out celebs trying to speak different languages to learn and showcase their diversity.
As we recently celebrated Heritage Day, Connie proved that she is a proud Motswana girl, and she does not discriminate against other languages. In a cute video she shared on Instagram, she is seen dancing to her fondest traditional dance and captioned it,
“My fondest memories of my childhood involve one or other cultural activity! I loooved traditional dance.” She wrote, sharing a video of herself doing a traditional dance. “And today I thought I’d pay homage to the good old days with a tease! NB; I don’t take myself seriously! At all! Struu!”
On the latest episode of The Queen Mzansi, Connie left many rolling on the floor with laughs with her Zulu line.
Connie who plays Harriett on the show was speaking to Brutus and when the two share a scene together one is usually in for a burst of great laughter.
The TV star’s cute Zulu accent left Ntando Duma in awe. The actress shared a video of the scene on Instagram and saying Connie cracks her every time she tried to speak IsiZulu. The actress could be heard laughing in the background. Connie replied and said she tries.
Ntando recently bagged a new role on The Queen. The actress plays the character of Rapulana Seiphemo’s character’s daughter “Mpho.”
Ntando left fans impressed with her acting and her Setswana accent since it’s not her native language. This follows after some fans were concerned that she won’t be able to portray the character.
This is not the first time Connie has left someone in stitches. The actress was recently filmed speaking isiZulu to the cast and crew of the production in isiZulu and we couldn’t stop laughing at it.Another celeb who often leaves mesmerized fans when he speaks isiZulu is Cassper Nyovest. The actor was after crowned as SA’s hottest MC for the year 2016 and he delivered a classic line, which left many in stitches when he said “IsiZulu sami siyabheda kodwa imali yami iright.” – Cassper.
