South African actor Atandwa Kani has decided to pay homage to his late doppelgänger, Chadwick Boseman who sadly lost his life after a long battle with colon cancer.

Despite playing many roles and bringing certain characters to life, Chadwick was best known for his role as the fist black superhero Black Panther. In the 2018 film, Atandwa Kani portrayed the younger King T’Chaka and the older being his father John Kani.
The two expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Chadwick, so much so that Atandwa got his whole face and a bit of Chadwick’s upper torso tattooed on his leg.
Atandwa Kani honored Chadwick’s memory by getting inked and posted a video of his masterpiece with the caption, “Rest in peace King.”
His death on August 28 shocked many and the Twitter post announcing his death became the most liked post ever with 7.7 million likes and 3.1 million re-tweets.
Even though the sequel for Black Panther has been announced, many fans urged Marvel Studios to not have a replacement or another T’Challa replacing Chadwick. However Mzansi seems to think Atandwa Kani is the perfect fit for the role.
Under his comment’s secion were follower applauding the beautiful tattoo whilst other are still in disbelief that Chadwick is no longer with us.
“I don’t know how long will take me to accept the fact that Chadwick isn’t with us I knew if I was in LA I would have met with him in NAACP image Awards this guy spirit is so humble still hating the f*** s*** so called death,” one follower wrote.
Another wrote, “Argh man intle lento. Long live the Wakanda King.”
Commenting on their resemblance, one follower wrote, “This is super dope, especially that you have that resemblance to him.”
“I’m in tears right now, this is so beautiful Atandwa,” said an emotional user.
“This is dope. Well done to who ever did this work,” said another follower commending the great artistic work.
