Idols SA judges judge according to tribe rather than talent. Fans of ldols SA are extremely disappointed in the judges as they seem to be biased to Zulu and Xhosa contesters. This all began when Matevhu was sent home after she forgot her lyrics. Many felt that they should have given her a second chance considering that she was singing in a language that’s not hers.

This is not the first time the judges have been called out for being biased to certain tribes mainly Xhosa and Zulu. Unathi is Xhosa while Somizi is Zulu and it appears Unathi will searching for her fellow Xhosa while Somizi will be searching for his Zulu.The show has announced it’s top 16 and many are not really happy with it as they feel that many talented singers were eliminated from the show for some reasons that were not that important like forgetting lyrics.

All along people were tolerating her but when Matevhu who is a Venda and an extremely talented singer was eliminated from the show because she forgot her lyrics fans were breathing particularly at Unathi who doesn’t really hide her love for Xhosa speaking contestants.
