Citizen TV news anchor Lilian Muli doesn’t understand how some people wake up in the morning, go to social media, open an account for their barely 3-year-olds and start posting them on social media every day.
The mother of two doesn’t post her kids and thinks it’s a bad idea for any parent to do it especially, on a daily basis.
On Instagram, she criticized parents who have started social media accounts and post their kids saying it will affect the kid’s life.
“Privacy is power! Why are you professing your Love to your person if they aren’t even on IG? Just tell them in person. Also, I wonder when we open Instagram accounts for our babies have we given them an option to grow up and decide whether they want a public life? Smh,” Lillian Muli’s Instagram post read.The post was seen as a subliminal attack on celebs such as Diana Marua and Bahati, Wajesus Family, Zari Hassan, DJ Mo and many others who have open Instagram accounts for their kids and always post them on social media.
Akothee, who posts how grown children but has avoided posting her underage boys as much as possible, was touched by Muli’s post and largely agreed that parents shouldn’t post their kids until they are old enough.
“I am regretting why I opened accounts for my kids, now my son wants his password he is 12 now, the people following him he doesn’t know them, some are mean some are real, trust me it’s wrong,” Akothee’s response read
