Kwesta explained that once Khai was born, he was in such financial trouble, that his wife had to seek assistance from her aunt, to help fund his daughter’s first birthday party. He claimed that he was ashamed of not being able to provide for his family, and that he had caused such strain on to his wife and daughter.
Choosing to turn his life around, he stated that both Yolanda and Khai have been his motivation to continue with music, and make a stable life for his family. Now expecting his second child, Kwesta admitted that the pandemic has put him in a difficult position once again, but he is now happier than ever. He stated, “This year we are expecting our second child and guess what… My world is a mess. The future is under threat and IM THE HAPPIEST MAN ALIVE, all at the same time (the new music will clarify)”.
Kwesta accompanied his emotional message with visuals of himself and Yolanda, posing for their maternity shoot.
