Orlando Pirates’ number 1 supporter Mandla Mgijimi Sindane has passed away in his hometown of eMalahleni town in Mpumalanga. The football enthusiast won the hearts of Mzansi with his presence at almost all of Orlando Pirates games covered head to toe in white powder in honour of his favourite team.

Thabiso Mosia SAFM sportscaster spoke to Mjijimi’s brother after the news broke. In a lengthy Twitter thread he said that Mgijimi’s brother Happy Sindane is in shock over his passing as he had just talked to him yesterday. He revealed that the Orlando Pirates super fan had said he wasn’t feeling well two days ago.
